Axe head is 5.5” from bit to butt.
Hand forged in Sweden, has a symmetrical grid with flat bevels.
A terrific, middle size & weight axe, if you had just one axe the Karlsson is definitely a nice all-around axe to have. Not too heavy, not too light.
Made of high quality SS1672 alloy steel, tempered at Rockwell 55. Handles are Swedish elm or ash.
Comes with the Karlssons' leather sheath with rivets & a snap closure.
