Description
Svante Djarv’s sloyd knife has a blade that is hand forged from high carbon tool steel and which holds an edge very well. It is a hefty blade with finely sharpened flat bevels. This is a good choice for someone looking for a thicker forged blade and a custom wooden handle, which is of textured elm for a solid grip. It would make a very good all-around knife for daily use and carving. The blade is long enough to tackle carving larger spoons, but not too big that more delicate projects feel over tooled. This is a good upgrade to an entirely hand made knife from the less expensive factory made Mora knife offerings.
